IMPROVING THE RATE WHILE DRILLING DEEP，OR ULTRA DEEP WELL IN THE COMPLEX GEOLOGICAL STRUCTURE OF EAST SICHUAN

Abstract:

The drilling speed while drilling deep，or ultra deep well in the complex high steep geological structure of East Sichuan is low.Well-constructing period is long and the cost is excessively high,the reasons for the low drilling rate in East Sichuan is analysed.In this paper,the nature of the various rock， the basis of bit type selection and how to judge the use of drill bit are introduced, the method of properly using bits is stated.Three measures toincrease drilling speed in the complex high steep geological structure of East Sichuan are proposed.A pendulum and eccentric shaft bottom hole assembly are used to drill.The drilling speed is increased by jet drilling,the thruster is popularized in the application.Through the above measures and constantly optimizing the drilling technology,drilling speed is increased and the quality of well ensured.
