Abstract: Based on the existing research results, classification of crude oil clusters and fluid inclusion homo-temperature analysis, the authors of this article draw the following conclusions,i.e.,there exist,in the area of Santai-BeisantaiSouthwestern slope of Beisantai, three formation periods of oil and gas pools, early Yanshan period, late Yanshan period and Himalayan period.During the early Yanshan period,Permian mudstone in the Begeda fore-mountain sag was the source kitchen and petroleum migration was from south to north along the Santai-Beisantai uplift, reaching to the southern slope of Beisantai uplift.During late Yanshan period,Permian and Jurassic mudstones of Fukang sag were the source kitchen and petroleum migration was from the sag to northeast, east and southeast orientation.During Himalayan period, petroleum migration had the same framework as during late Yanshan period in the regional scale, characterized by vertical remigration in the high of SantaiBeisantai uplift.

Key words: Junggar Basin, fluid inclusion, cluster of crude oil, source kitchen, formation period of oil and gas pools
