Abstract: In order to acquire the yield law of gelled waxy crude oil and quantitatively establish the relationship between stress loading rate and yield time,the yielding property of three types of gelled waxy crude oil,i.e.,Daqing gelled crude oil,northern Xinjiang crude oil and Tuha crude oil,are studied by using rheometer RS150 in controlled stress mode,with the stress loading in stepwise sequence and in a rampup way.It is found that the yield time of gelled waxy crude oil increases monotonically with the decrease of stress loading rate,the data regression analysis shows that the relationship between these two parameters follows a power law function.Based on the result,an expression that can describe the relationship between the stress loading rate and yield time of gelled waxy crude oil is developed,and the physical meaning of this expression is analyzed with dimensional analysis.The universalization of this expression is verified by fitting with different experimental data of gelled waxy crude oil from domestic and foreign literatures.
