    The carbonate breccias exist widely in the Nanpan river area during
    the Permian and Triassic periods, According to their petrological chara-
    cteristics and relations with surrounding rocks, we can regard them as
    deep water carbonate rucks of the debris flow and turbidity current se-
    diments, In this area Ilong Wu movement resulted in a lot of fault-
    trough basins controlled by faults in different directions and obvious
    difference in lithofacies and topography between the fault一trough and the
    platform,which was very helpful for gravity flow. carbonate to form.The
    patterns of the carbonate breccias can reflect the paleotectonic geomorphic
    environment at that time.

    The carbonate debris flow discussed in this paper is distributed prl-
    warily in lithologic members of Luolou Group of the earlp Triassic
    system in the south of Guizhou province, Its features areThe carbonate
    breccias are massive and have clear boundary with a plane or wavy bo-
    ttom, 2, The composition of the gravels is complex, they may be roughly
    divided into two types:slope sediments and platform or platform margin
    sediments.3.Gravels of various size are mixed,sorting and roundness are
    poor, 4.The gradation of the breccia is poor too, Its lateral distribu-
    tion is limited,it may stretch into the basin several kilometes,sometimes
    even more than ten kilometers,having sheet,flute or lens forms,surronud-
    ed by the basinal sediments, Therefore,the carbonate debris flow surely
    exists at the foot of slopes or on basinal margines,

    In this paper the correspondence analysis is used to divide the sedimentary facies of 257 limestone samples of Late Permian from the southern part of Guazhou province and the western part of Cuangsi province. On the basis of the results, we have presented a model of sedimentary facies of this area and reconstructed the ancient environments.In addition, we have pointed out the correspondence analysis of multivariate statistics can be used to study the sedimentary facies of carbonate rocks.

    On some conditions the efficency of cleaning of the bottom-hole is the most important factor that affect the rate of penetration. If the design of the bottom-hole flow field is perfect, regrinding of cuttings can he reduced, and even eliminated.     Sepiolite of economical value has been found at Quanjiao county, Anhui province and at some other places in China.we made a series of experiments to study its mud-making capacity, rheological properties and various factors affecting the properties of the mud made from it, then, we practically applied the mud in fields.The sepiolite can build up viscosity in all kinds of water, increasing its yield point without increase of plastic viscosity, and the mud yield is as high as 80 M~3/T.

    This paper conducts a systematic experimental investigation into the effect of the number and configuration of nozzles on bottom-hole cleaning and makes a detailed theoretical analysis of the results. The experimental and analytical results show that the capability of scavenging the bottom-hole increases continuously as the ratio between diameters of nozzles and their number decrease. A single nozzle is the best of the configurations of nozzles present.

    The article presents a method of carrier-wave transmission of digit siesmic signals, which can replace the existing transmission by cable. In our device gain-instantaneous amplifier and delta-modulation are adopted in order to Constrict the amplitude and digitalyze. Channeling is accomplished by frequency-division amplitude modulation. Our transmitter is accurate, reliable and at the same time very simple in construction. Some technical problems and the methods to solve them are discussed in the article.
