    In this paper it has been proven that the fluid loss control of SMP primarily results from the improvement of mud-cake quality. The permeability K has been measured as an important factor of judging mud-cake quality.We have studied the changes oft heads or bed amount with temperature,salt content in the medium and PH value,as well as the relations between adsorbed amount and Water between loss of drilling fluid in the corresponding conditions. Particularly, the influence of the. NaCI content in the medium on the absorbed amount,the particle size distribution of clay in mud cake before and after SMP is mixed with SMC has been studied, hence a mutually relationship between these factors has been found.The mechanism of the anti-temperature and anti-salt properties of SMP lies in its quite strong thermal stability and hydrophilic power,as well as in its effective adsorption onto the surface of clay in the condition of high temperature and large salt content . when it is mixed with SMC or complexed with multivalent cations,such as Cr3+ thus, a stable protection for fine colloidal particles in such conditions is achieved

    The essential advantages of Robertson-Stiff model consist in great applicability exponential models and high accuracy. Including Newton,Bingham and Exponential Robertson-Stiff model can express rheologic Properties of drilling fluid at different shear rates much better.This paper developed an equation of differential pressure and Reynolds’ numbers for pipe and annular flow,and presented a method of accurate calculation of rheologic parameters.

    The aim of this paper is to find out a general method of controlling the hole deviation in various formations with the help of a rigid packed hole assembly.
    In this paper,we calculated the mechanical properties of the rigid packed hole assembly in a fixed angle section by

    This paper presents a mathematical mode of non-steady flow to a well through the three-fold media (which has three constituents ;matrix, fractures and vugs).Analytical solutions of flow problems with constant bottom-hole pressure are obtained by more convenient and powerful successive transformations (Laplace-Extended Weber and Laplace-finite Hankel).

    In this paper we have introduced a new method of measuring the radial loads on both big and small journal bearings and axial loads on the bearing thrust of the bit under steady or dynamic load. Using this method .we performed a series of experiments with the .bit made of real cone on our test stand .We have obtained some data with the second cone of the bit of 8 XHP 5 -3 type under dynamic loads, 0n the basis of these data we concentrated on how to study the loads on journal bearings with the help of harmonic and statistical analysis, Besides, we have found out that analysis of the density of the power spectrum is an important method of studying the load on the journal bearings and the tooth face structure of different cones.At the end of this paper we have discussed the results of our experiments,made to study the change of the load distribution on each bearing when the second thrust is on load.

    Power transmission system is one of the main parts of the drilling equipment.
    After discussing performance characteristics of the drilling equipment and its demands on power transmission,we have analysed in this paper various hydraulic drive rigs used now and their problems. Lt is suggested that Allison transmission system be applied in drilling equipment and two schemes are presented.
