Artificial intelligence has gradually been used in the domain of well test analysis in recent years. By its nature, well test analysis is really an artificial intelligence problem. This paper discusses how expert system is applied to well test interpretation and what should be studied. It also describes in detail the composition, the structure, the mechanism and the method of our expert system in well test analysis. Finally, an example is given to show the usage of the expert system.

This is the fourth paper studying the viscoelaticity of retained polymer molecules in porous media, (1) (2) (3) A comparison of molecular flexibility is made between HPAM and Xathan Gum. It has been shown theoretically that the viscoelastic recovery of the flexible retained molecules causes the effective flowing area of throat to decrease exponentially, and thus causes the flow rate to decrease in the same manner. Based on this, a new method has been developed for measuring the relaxation time of retained polymer molecules in porous media.The effect of core permeability and soulution salinity on viscoelastic flow has also been studied.

In this paper, the DSE dynamic simulation equipment is used to study the effect of such parameters as pressure difference, time, temperature, mud flow rate and rotational speed of drilling tool on the formation damage. Then, the comparative analysis between dynamic state damage and static state damage is completed. The experiment results play an important role in the analysis of formation damage mechanism, in the determination of damage evaluation standards, and in production practice.

This paper deals with the application of the boron-vanadium-doping technique to dies. The experimental analyses have been made of the microstructures and wear resistance of the boron-vanadium-doping layer of die steel, and of the influence of technological parameters on it. The results show that the wear resistance of dies after the treatment is improved so much that their working life becomes many times longer than that before the treatment.

Gas storage of pipeline end is used to overcome the unbalance of gas consumption round the clock. As the users undulatory gas consumption at the end of pipeline day and night causes the unsteady gas flow in pipeline end, this paper applies the gas unsteady flow equation to calculate the length and diameter of pipeline end. After comparing the results by the unsteady gas flow calculating method with those by the steady gas flow calculating method, it is shown that the pipeline end determined according to steady gas flow calculating method could not meet the demands of overcoming unbalance of gas consumption the clock round sometimes.

Wen-23 fault block is a horst fault block in the middle and north parts of wenliu structure in the central swell of Dongpu Depression. Sha-4 gas reservoir is an inclined nose-like structure in the south. The fault block results from the pull from the near east to the west and the thrust to the east as well as the right spin and translation compound stress, thus forming the existing horst structure pattern broken up by faults. wendong and wenxi faults not only are the boundaries of the east, the north and the west,but also control the distribution of gas and water in the fault block.

Landslide and mndflow often lead to the special natural disaster in the economical construction of mountainous areas. This paper has expounded that disastrous mudflow is caused by the highspeed landslide in Qikuo, Huaying city. Among the factors of its influence, besides lithological and geological structures, the most important is the changes in the atmospheric and undergrund waters, which result in the formation and expansion of mudrock creep zone in the mountainus rock. In addition, the thunderstorm and drenching rain are the cause of huge mudflow.

A practical method of inserting waiting state in Single-Component Microcomputer (SCM) and a 8031 SCM development system composed of dualport RAM are provided in this paper. It is a parallel dual processor system consisting of a master, a dual-port RAM board and a SCM emulator. The master can monitor SCM so that the breakpoint function of software is achieved easily. The system is a cheap ICE, so it can develop other microprocessor by replacing the emulator.
