According to systematology, the Lower and Middle Silurian reefs of NW Sichuan area can be regarded as open systems and be subdivided into a series of elements. The evolution of reef systems and the influence of environment change on the reefs can be explained by the dissipative structure theory.

The feldspathic sandstone in Sha 3 member of Eogene system (Es3)has experienced strong diagenesis and entered the early stage of late diagenetic C. The diagenesis of sandstone in Es3, especially the control of various authigenic minerals over physical properties of the reservoirs has been studied in detail in this paper. The porosity-permeability of the reservoirs is largely proportional to the development of authigenic minerals inside them. The authigenic origin of step-like garnet has been approached, the connection between the formative temperature of various authigenic minerals and the Clastic diagenesis has been discussed，and the distribution feature of time and space of diagenesis in the area has also been described.

The bitumen in Anran reefs which distributes in different pores consists of framework dissolution pore-cave filling type, fissure filling type and fissuredruse filling type. Its microtexure is of intermediate phase pellets, welded pellets with mosaic texture, stick-like and slice-like texture. By chemical analysis,X-ray eiffraction and reflectance determination, trace element analysis, as well as aromatic hydrocarbon analysis, it is revealed that the bitumen in Anran reefs is characserized by overmature organic matter.By oil source reseach it is preliminarily confirmed that the oil source of Ke-1 bitumen in Maokou formation of Lower Permian is from underlying Middle Devonian source rock，the Md-1 fissure filling bitumen in Changxin formation of Upper Permian comes from the overlying MiddleTriassic source rock，and some bitumen is characterized by mixed sources.

An extracting method of light hydrocarbons in source rock has been introduced in this paper. The extracts can be directly analyzed with gas chromatography. C4—C7 light hydrocarbons have extensive application in geochemistry. Two different condensates from Sichuan basin being taken as an example, how to justify their source origin and maturity, and how to do gas source correlation by using C4—C7 light hydrocarbons have also been discussed in this paper.

According to non-radial flow characteristic of fluid in formation after acid fracturing treatment, this paper has developed a steady flow mathematical model expressed in dimensionless pressure, and proposed a difference method for calculating stimulatiou ratio. The method all-sidedly considers influences of well-bore damage from well boring and well completion, fracture-wall damage from acid fracturing treatment, and finite fracture conductivity. It can be used to calculate the stimulation ratio of an acid fracturing well accurately.

Considering the effect of gas slippage, this paper presents a mathematical model of gas flow through low-permeability gas reservoir and finds pseudopressure and pseudotime functions which make the mathematical model and de finite solution condition linearized When the new pseudopressure and pseudotime are used, the model of gas flow through lowpermeabilitygas reservoir becomes the same form as the conventional mathematical model of reservoir permeability. Therefore, when the pseudopressure and pseudotime values is also discussed. It is shown from field examples that the results obtained are satisfactory and the new method is proved to be an effective one for analyzing well test data in low-permeability gas reservoir.

A new kind of test equipment and a method for rockbreaking mechanism of a roller bit are introduced in this paper. Ihe equipment controlled by microcomputers and used for measuring data is different from any present bit test equipment in its working mechanism and construction. It can be used to simulate the motion and dynamics of bit teeth during the breaking of rock more realistically, and to measure the dynamic parameters more exactly while the test is going on, and the corresponding relationship between them.Some examples and the analysis of test results are also presented in this paper.It is shown through the tests that the new test equipment is reliable and convenient to operate，and that the data measured are exact and the results tested are believable.

This paper discusses the influence of temperature on the coagulation treatment of drilling wastewater. It points out that as the temperature of the treatment increases, the size of flocs becomes bigger and the settling speed of flocs gets faster. But in the range of 5℃～40℃, the higher the temperature of the wastewater treatment, the more coagulant is needed.

Considering the realistic transient flow in complex branch-like pipeline network, we have presented for the first time the mathematical model of initial-boundary value problem in the system of partial differential equations of pressure distribution. We have proved the solution of the initial-boundary value problem to be existent and unique by the semigroup theory of linear operators, and obtained the wide-sense solution by the operator series method.
