Abstract: General Secretary Xi Jinping clearly pointed out in the report of the Nineteenth National Congress of the Party that China
should implement the strategy of healthy China, constantly improve the national health policy and level, and provide comprehensive
and systematic health services for the people. As a national intangible cultural heritage, Hua Tuo′s Five-Animal Exercises is the
earliest medical sports in China, which contains rich value. By using the methods of documentation and summary, this paper makes a
thorough and systematic explanation of the origin, cultural connotation, modern value system and development path of the Five-Animal
Exercises, which further enriches the value theory and practice research in the new era.
