Abstract:

Combination of the practice and the particularity of local culture of Dali University, according to the development of
western minority areas and the demand on the architectural talents, the article analyzes the conditions of teachers and hardware in Dali university, and the conditions may be improved, takes Ethnic Architecture and urban and rural planning of minority areas as a basic orientation in architecture major, discusses the feasibility of the establishment of distinctive Architecture major .
