Abstract: "Good youth of the new era" is a further extension of the Party's goal of cultivating "a new generation" and is also a higher
requirement for youth put forward by the Communist Party of China in the great journey of building a modern socialist country in all
respects. The proposal of "good youth of the new era" inherits and develops Marxist view on talents, deepens the scientific
understanding of youth's growth and success in the new era, and meets the latest requirements of the Party and the country's
development strategies. To grasp the distinctive characteristics of "good youth of the new era" and cultivate them, we should strengthen
ideological guidance, political guidance and behavioral guidance for the growth of "good youth of the new era", and build a spiritual
home for patriotic struggle of "good youth of the new era".
