Abstract:

Objective: To investigate the relationship of peripheral blood leucocyte change, injury and prognosis in early acute
craniocerebral trauma patients. Methods: Seventy-eight acute craniocerebral injury patients were enrolled. Peripheral vein blood was collected in 24 h, 3 d and 7 d. White blood cell count was detected and compared according to Glasgow coma scale and different prognosis. Results: Data have showed a positive correlation between peripheral leucocyte change and pathogenetic condition and prognosis of patients. Conclusion: The early changing of peripheral blood leucocyte may predict pathogenetic condition and prognosis of acute craniocerebral injury patients.

Key words: acute craniocerebral injury, peripheral blood, leucocyte
