Abstract:

Local college libraries open to the public is of great significance to promote local economic and cultural development.
However, some of the local colleges do not realize the importance of the library open to the public: their concepts are out-dated；their sense of service is weak；most resources are idle；and they narrow down the scope of services. Exploring ways of the local university library open to the community is the key point for the local college libraries to improve resource utilization, to serve to the community, and to promote the key to reform.
