Rethinking on the Color Performance in Impressionist Paintings

摘要:

19世纪中期,印象主义画家们根据光学的原理,对色彩运用进行着前所未有的尝试。他们认为物体是没有固有色的,
物体的一切色彩都是由于光线的反射产生的。正是因为印象派如此重视光线,印象主义画家们才会主张在室外绘画,强烈的
室外光线与色彩使他们的绘画有了前所未有的明亮和鲜艳。印象主义画家打破了传统,积极探索光和色的瞬间效果,对绘画
色彩进行了大胆的改革,运用冷暖色对比,引入环境色,开辟了色彩表现的新世界,彻底改变了之前的绘画面貌。

Abstract:

In mid-nineteenth century, Impressionist painters had an unprecedented attempt in using color based on the principles of
optics. They believed that there was no inherent color of an object, and all colors that the object had were generated in the reflection of light. Because of the emphasis of light for Impression, Impressionist painters insisted on painting outdoor since the intense outdoor light offered the unprecedented brightness and color for their paintings. Impressionist painters broke the tradition, actively explored the short moment effect of light and color, made a bold reform in painting colors, used warm and cold color contrast to introduce the ambient color, opened up a new world of color performance, and completely changed the features of previous paintings.
