神性建构:白族感生神话与“九隆文本”

摘要: 白族最知名的感生神话是“九隆神话”。“九隆神话”除了演变为皇室和名家大姓的祖先来源神话外,在大理民间也演变
为九龙神话。许多后人将祖先构建为感生神话,其目的是想借祖先“神”的身份来彰显自己在现实生活中的社会地位,或对自
己的既得权力做一个合理化的追认等,“九隆祖源表述”是一个案例。此外,感生神话使人感神而生的神之子有人之生活,却自
带神之光环,白族“本土神”段赤城是一个典型。总之,与神相连,建构神性,找到合理解释,树立威信。

Abstract: The most well-known myth of the Bai is The Myth of Jiulong, which has evolved into the Myth of Nine Dragons among the
Bai folk people as well as the mythical origins for royal and aristocratic families. Later generations make up gan- sheng myths
(induced myths)for their forebears on the purposes of constructing their own social status with the "divinity" or finding a justification
for their vested authority. "Jiulong Zuyuan Biaoshu"(An Explication on the Origins of "Jiulong")is such a case. In addition, gansheng
myths make the people who were born of gods divine as well as earthly, such as Duan Chicheng, one of the local gods of the Bai.
In short, being connected with gods is a way to find reasonable explanation and build prestige.
