Abstract:

There are inconsistent concepts of gender in the process of developing the Buddhism. From analysis perspective of feminist
philosophy, Buddhism constructed from three aspects of gender concept as ideal, reality and practice, which is consistent with the
principle of equality in Buddhism. Buddhism has a special concern to women and is an essentially androgynous religion.
