摘要： 对于文献记载有限但口头传说故事较为丰富的地方社会，传说故事的历史解释力是地方史研究所面临的一个重要问 题。作为民间文学文类的传说故事，因其本身所具有的文学性、变异性、集体性等特征，其作为解释性工具时常受到质疑。从 大理地区广为流传的王权传说入手，探究传说文类之于区域社会建构及地方历史研究的方法论意义具有理论价值。

Abstract: The history explanation of folk legends is an important issue in the study of the history of local areas, where the literal documents are limited but the oral legends are abundant. As a genre of folk literature, legend is questioned by its characteristics of literary, variability and collectivity. Based on the research of Legends of King in Dali, this paper attempts to discuss the methodological significance of legends in the regional society construction and the research of local history.
