Abstract:

〔Abstract〕 Paris Manuscripts is a classic in the history of the development of Marx's cultural theory， depicting the development of Marx's cultural thought. Focusing on the key subject of cultural thought， Marx took culture as the general grasp， examined cultural issues with an eye on the driving force， mechanism， and purpose of social development， considered culture in the category of the times， and clarified the origin， essence， and driving force of culture. Through combing the existing achievements in the academic circle， the paper is to try to analyze the Marxist cultural thought in the Paris Manuscripts with the idea of textual philology， and clarify its core essence and value meaning， which will help to provide a new perspective for the study of Marx's thought， reveal its internal evolution mechanism from a deep level， and constitute a reasonable path to approach Marx. Needless to say， Paris Manuscripts still has important value today， especially for promoting the construction of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics in the new era.
