唐朝时期在西南地区兴起的南诏国，受当时社会发展程度和满足状况的影响，其法律制度表现是、出独特的地域和时代特征，社会规范作用相对较大的刑事法律制度更集中体现了我这些特征。南诏的刑事法律制度既有封建制度法律制度的特征，又带有奴隶制度法律制度的色彩，还有民族习惯的掺杂，与南诏社会实际结合紧密。南诏刑事法律制度是中华法系刑事实践中别具一格的部分，对于解决多民族、发展不平衡国家或地区的制度安排问题有一定的借鉴意义。
Nanzhao was a country rose and developed in southwest China during Tang dynast. It showed its own regional and age features with the developing degree and national status at that time. And these features were mainly presented by criminal legal system functioned as a relatively effective social norm. The criminal legal system presented the features of feudalism, slavery and ethnic customs and was connected closely to the real social environment in Nanzhao Kingdom. The criminal legal system in Nanzhao is also a particular part of criminal law practiced in China, and can be used as a reference to those multi-national and disparate developed countries and regions on system arrangement.
