在系统分析和研究大学英语网络教学的基础上，以大理学院的大学英语网络教学为例，对在网络教学中所遇到的实际
问题进行研究。然后在建构主义理论的指导下提出：在新的网络教学模式下，学生应该转变以教师为中心的学习模式，积极主动培养自身的自主学习能力；教师也应改变传统的教学观念，及时地明确自身的新角色，做到教学的“控制者、指挥者、管理者、促进者和信息管理者”，应进一步完善网络教学环境软硬件建设。
On the basis of systematic analysis and web-based college English teaching, this paper has made a research into the ractical problems of web -based teaching mode for college English in Dali University and then advances some solutions to the oncrete problems in the course of the implementation of this teaching mode from the perspective of constructivism.
