当前边疆农村中学体育教学的现状令人堪忧，旧的模式化教学影响根深蒂固，成为制约新课标改革和推进素质教育进
程的瓶颈。建议有关部门和执教者要引以重视，分析成因、谋略对策。积极探索和实践，创新教学模式和方法，增加投入，改善体育教学的软硬件建设，完善体育评估体系，从而推进边疆农村中学体育教学质量的不断提升，促进学生综合素质的全面发展。
The current situation of physical education in rural middle schools in the border areas are not satisfying．Old teaching mode has constrained the new curriculum reform and hindered the process of quality education．Therefore，the paper suggests new teaching mode be explored，software and hardware for physical education be constructed，physical education evaluation system be improved SO as to accelerate the quality of physical education in border rural middle schools and promote the comprehensive development of students overall qualities．
