The culture of the Bai is an important part of Chinese culture. People have paid much attention to the study of the Bai
culture. The book named the Study of the Bai's Ancient Steles in the Context of Culture is a masterpiece in the culture research of the
Bai. The book is very distinctive from the academic views. Firstly, this book determinates the steles thoroughly from the literary angle.
Secondly, this book synthesizes various documents to explains the steles by using the modern trend of thoughts. Thirdly, this book
reveals the meanig of the steles fully in the context of culture. This monograph can be read as either a special literary history of the
Bai, or a special research work of the ancient culture of the Bai .
