地方高校图书馆在参与农家书屋的建设中具有人才优势、资源优势和时间优势，可以通过协助农家书屋制定和完善各
项管理制度、对农家书屋管理员进行业务培训、编写农家书屋管理手册、派遣读者协会志愿者、号召师生为农家书屋捐款捐物等方式加入到农家书屋的建设中去，从而推动西部地区农家书屋的健康发展。
Based on the analysis of western regional university library's participation in the construction of farmer bookstore (a place in which farmers can read and study without any pay), the local university library posses the superiorities of talents, resources and gaining time. They could partake in constructions of the farmer bookstore by the ways of helping to establish and perfect management regulations, training librarians, compiling handbooks for farmer bookstore librarians, sending volunteers from the reader's association, appealing teachers and students to donate for the farmer bookstore, so as to promote the healthy development of western farmer bookstore.
