Abstract:

Guoxue, the embodiment of Chinese cultural identity, has existed since ancient times. The guoxue in the perspective of
modern philosophy is closely connected to the practical needs of survival and salvation. Being the mainstream discourse, guoxue has determined that the cultural construction of the modern thinkers cannot do without the identity of Chinese local culture, which has put pre-Qin philosophers and philosophy into the limelight of modern thinkers. Only after the discrimination of pre-Qin philosophers and the origin of Chinese local culture, could the special origin of modern guoxue thoughts, as well as the theories and special content of guoxue, be comprehended.
