Abstract:

A series of novels, essays and prose written by Ding Ling before 1949 have always been hot topics of studying female
literature in modern Chinese literature. When I was in Rosy Village is a kind of unique writing of existence experience. By revealing the references of different layers in linguistic description, it can be found that the invisible clue of the work is the morbid mental state of most people in deserted age according to the depiction of venereal disease. To interpret the narrative intention of Ding Ling by divinity writing and to see through the female world in the perspective of text gender are feasible analytical methods.
