Abstract:

The ideological and political work for urban peasant workers is a significant work of the Party and the government. It is
an important means for the vulnerable group to acquire social support, to eliminate spiritual poverty, to solve conflicts and to reduce
social risk, and therefore it is related to the stability and harmony of the society. Based on the sampling survey and literature research,
this article initiates some strategies and suggestions on reinforcing and improving the ideological and political work for the urban
peasant workers. It proposes to resolve cognitive problems, stress team construction, establish working mechanism, increase the input
of human, material and financial resources, improve security system, enhance publicity and create a positive atmosphere, enlarge
public involvement, strengthen pertinence and effectiveness, and to promote through the efforts of grassroots communities.
