Abstract:

Some errors in the historical literature lead to the deviation and misunderstanding on the bronze drum which with the same
name but actually in different regions and different shapes. So, on the basis of the documents and image interpretations, this paper
classifies and compares three different bronze drums in area, shape and application, then clears the coexist and the use of three bronze
drums in Tang palace.
