Abstract:

In recent years, in some colleges and universities in China have emerged a phenomenon that students rent rooms outside their college, and the trend is becoming universal. which brings certain impacts on the safety management and value education in colleges. The paper analyzes the causes, and makes a survey into the attitudes towards the phenomenon. At last, the paper puts forward some suggestions and proposals to improve the present situation of student's renting rooms outside college and makes an appeal that public should pay great attention to it by the way of studying its forming factors and the problems it has caused. And learning from the foreign experience, colleges should cooperate with public security bureau, industry and commerce departments and surrounding communities to strengthen and standardize the management over the students who rent rooms outside college.
