Abstract:
Taking receiving specialized introductory courses or not as a standard of classification, the teaching effects of the specialized introductory courses offered to freshman are investigated through the method of grouping contrast research. The investigation result of 600 students in grade 2008 and grade 2009 shows that the courses have generally increased the students' professional recognition and their interest in their majors. The difference between grade 2008 and 2009 is so obvious ,which shows that it is necessary to offer the introductory courses. The marks are low for both the two groups, which indicates that it is essential to improve teaching quality thoroughly.
