Objective: The paper argues that training of Ba Wang Bian, which is Bai People's traditional sport, has an effect on
university students's physical function, and explores the fitness value of Ba Wang Bian, which make it possible to access to PE curriculum and public health fields. Method: Non-physical educated students 40 (20 students of each gender) are randomly divided into reference group and experiment group, the reference group lives normal life, experimental group of 20 (10 students of each gender)is trained to play Ba Wang Bian for 16 weeks, 50 minutes/time, 3 times/week. Results: Ba Wang Bian training can improve players's function of sports system, cardiovascular system and respiratory system. Conclusion: The long-term systematical Ba Wang Bian training will help to enhance students's physical function, which has important influence on university students.
