Abstract:

Zhang Shengwen's Fanxiangjuan is the Buddhist art treasure in the world, which is the important material to study Nanzhao and Dali Kingdom's history. Since 20th century, domestic and foreign scholars were widely attracted by Zhang Shengwen's Fanxiangjuan. Many research results appeared. Based on these results, the article gives an overview of the current situation,common views and further study about this masterpiece.
