Abstract:

As an important term in the traditional Chinese opera and phonology, people's understanding of Jian-tuan yin has some controversies, outstanding performance in definition and classification. On the basis of comprehensive predecessors' research results, this paper ties to combine the concept with its historical sources, and redefine it. In addition, Jian-tuan yin is divided into the following types: combined type, distinguished type and mixed type, which can provide some reference material for research.
