Abstract:

Science has changed the relationship between human and nature. In A Dog's Tale, the first-person narrator "I" compared its story with her mother and the Grays to the duel between humanity and reason. With the triumph of reason, represented by Mr. Gray, humanity was defeated, which declares human beings' degeneration to beasts.
