Abstract:

It was in the Beisong Dynasty that Confucian Classic argumentation became a style of examinations，and the structure of it was always based on four parts until Hongwu sixth year(AD1373) in Ming Dynasty. However，as a style of examinations，the characteristics of adapting to the development of the period of the times decided its changes of the structure. Therefore，through the development of Song Dynasties the structure of Confucian Classic argumentation reached such a stage that was complicated and confusing. So，the people of Yuan Dynasty simplified its structure form. Because the structure of Confucian Classic argumentation at the first exam in Ming Dynasty still followed the one in Yuan Dynasty，it is said that it still remained with the style of Yuan Dynasty.
