Types of The Place Names' Structure and Their Cultural Meanings on Minority Languages in Nu Ethnic

Abstract:

It has been a ethnically mixed area since ancient times in Pihe Town，Fugong County of Yunnan Province，the ethnic
groups including Nu，Lisu，Bai，Han and some other ethnic groups. The place names are a living fossil of the multi-culture blended in Pihe Town. Take Pihe Town as an example ，this paper explores the structure types of the minority languages，the cognitive characteristics of the place names ，and the place names containing the cultural implication in Nu ethnic group area.
