Abstract:

Based on the connotation of the new industrialization and urbanization and setting up the compound system coordination
degree model, this paper analyzes and evaluates the coordination of the new industrialization and urbanization in twelve western
provinces in China from static and dynamic models. The result shows that the interaction of industrialization and urbanization pushes the orderly development of the socioeconomic system; the coordination degree of industrialization and urbanization presents the spatial heterogeneity and dynamic fluctuation. This paper also puts further forward measures and solutions of promoting the coordinated development of new industrialization and urbanization of the western regions in China.
