Abstract:

Nanzhao Stele of Moralization is an important one of Tang Dynasty for the study of ethnic relations in Nanzhao period. The
inscriptions of the stele shows the thought of "Ethnic Integration"of Nanzhao Kingdom which expected to unify in China. By studying on
the reasons, impact and significance of this thought, this paper indicates that it's necessary to strength the economic and cultural
connection and to encourage and broaden the communication among different ethnic groups, which will be beneficial for the
harmonious development in minority areas.
