Determination of Tetracyclines Residue from Animal-derived Food in Xiaguan, Dali

Abstract:

Objective: The tetracyclines residue in fresh pork, chicken, beef, fish and their liversin Xiaguan, Dali were detected in
order to monitor and provide the theoretical basis for animal-derived food and food safety for consumers. Methods: The samples were
tested by High Performance Liquid Chromatography(HPLC)in accordance with the provision of GB/T 5009.116—2003. Results:
Oxytetracycline(OTC), Tetracycline(TC)and Chlortetracycline(CTC)residues in the randomly selected samples have not been
detected. Conclusion: There is no tetracyclines residue in this batch of animal- derived food which was selected randomly from
Xiaguan, Dali.
