Abstract:

Objective: To survey the diversity of nematode-trapping fungi on submerged wood and sideways soil along Heilong
Stream in Cangshan Mountain. Methods: 100 submerged decayed wood and 100 soil samples were randomly collected. All samples
were examined after incubation and fungi species were identified referring to classical taxonomics. Results: We found 11 species of
nematode-trapping fungi in 3 genera from submerged decayed woods and 16 species in 3 genera form soil samples. Conclusion: The
detection rate, species richness, dominance index and diversity index of the nematode-trapping fungi from the soil are higher than
those parameters from submerged decayed woods. Compositions of fungi community were similar in soil samples and submerged
decayed woods, but more species of fungi were found in soil samples.
