Construction of Effective Family Coping Style for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders before and after Diagnosis: An Investigation Based on the Rehabilitation Course of a Moderate Autistic Child for 6 Years

Abstract: The study of case shows that there is a strong correlation between the family coping style and the intervention effect of the Children with autism spectrum. In 6 years, the effective coping mode adopted by the family has recovered a child with moderate autism(accompanied by mental retardation) into a normal pupil in elementary school. Parents should pay attention to children's developmental abnormalities and diagnose them in time, take the initiative to conduct psychological adjustments, send autistic children to scientific intervention institutions to carry out systematic interventions timely, learn about autism knowledge and intervention methods, achieve division of labor among family members, and establish a good parent-child relationship with children with autism to build an effective response model for children with autism spectrum disorders.
