Abstract: Woodcarving is an artistic language unique to traditional culture in both Thailand and China. With the development of
modern art design and the mutual penetration of artistic language and concepts, the traditional wood carving art is used more and more
often in the contemporary local space design. This research mainly analyzes the aesthetic characteristics of Thai woodcarving art,
discusses the artistic conception of woodcarving art in the local cultural space, and aims to provide reference for the effective
application of woodcarving art in traditional cultural space design.
