Preliminary Study on the Effects of Different Preservatives on Cut Flowers of Alstroemeria hybrida

Abstract: Alstroemeria hybrida were tested using nine preservatives with 5% sucrose and different concentration of 8-HQC, STS, and 6-BA to evaluate the fresh-keeping effects. The results suggested that the best preservatives combination is 5% sucrose + 200 mg/L 8-HQC + 0.2 mmol/L STS + 50 mg/L 6-BA.
