Exploration of the Connotation, Logical Analysis, and Action Strategies for the Ideological and Political Construction of Physical Education Courses

Abstract:

The integration of ideological and political education into physical education curricula represents a concrete pedagogical
practice addressing fundamental issues in China's education system and fulfilling its core educational mission. Employing research methodologies such as literature review, logical reasoning, and dialectical analysis, this study elucidates the fundamental connotations and value implications of this integration, while exploring its significant importance and societal value. Based on the threefold logic of theory, history, and reality, this study elucidates and dissects the theoretical origins, historical foundations, and practical necessities of ideological and political education in China's physical education curriculum. It discerns the logical patterns underlying this educational approach, providing objective and comprehensive logical support for its implementation. Based on the construction principles and basic framework derived from practical patterns, this study proposes an action strategy that includes: "three guiding pillars" to implement the macro-level educational objective of "fostering virtue through education", "three developments" to materialize the meso-level educational pathway of "all-round, whole-process, and all-staff education" and "Four Enhancements" to promote the effective implementation of ideological and political construction in physical education courses. This strategy provides theoretical references and practical guidance for the development of ideological and political construction in China's physical education courses.
