Abstract: The relationship between the Chinese national community and Chinese modern civilization constitutes a key issue that demands in-depth reflection in constructing the theoretical framework of the Chinese national community. The Chinese national community is shaped by the state form, composed of diverse ethnic groups, and rooted in Chinese culture. It serves as the principal force in advancing Chinese modern civilization, which emerges from the inheritance of fine traditional culture and the absorption of modern civilization. Once formed, Chinese modern civilization in turn reshapes the national community, forging shared political consensus and civilizational ideals. Theories of the national community and Chinese modern civilization are symbiotic and resonate harmoniously, converging in the construction of a shared spiritual homeland for the Chinese nation. The intertwining of traditional Chinese culture and modern civilization constructs a collective belief system and symbolic universe for the national community, forming the spiritual cornerstone for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
