Abstract: By combining field investigations with consulting relevant materials, the plant and vegetation diversity of Weishan Weibaoshan State Nature Reserve was sorted and analyzed. The results showed that a total of 663 species of vascular plants belonging to 410 genera in 157 families were recorded in the protected area, including 14 rare and endangered protected plants. According to the classification principles of Yunnan Vegetation, the vegetation types in the protected area are divided into 6 vegetation types, 9 vegetation subtypes, 11 formations, and 17 associations. The main vegetation types are ranked by area as follows: semi humid evergreen broad-leaved forest > warm temperate coniferous forest > warm temperate deciduous broad-leaved forest > mid mountain humid evergreen broad-leaved forest > mountaintop moss dwarf forest > secondary grassland. The plant composition of the reserve is complex and rich, and the vegetation types are diverse, typical and rare, which has important protection value.
