masses. Methods: The ultrasonographic features in 75 patients with submandibular triangle masses in hour hospital from November 2010 to November 2014 were retrospectively analyzed and compared with pathological fingings. Results: The research included 8 patients(10.7%)with submandibular sialolithiasis, 9 patients(12.0%)with sialadenitis, 14 patients(18.7%)with lymphadenitis, 39 patients(52.0%)with tumors. Of the tumors, 12 patients(16.0%)with malignant and 27 patients(36.0%)with benign tumors. The most common masses were inflammatory mass and benign tumors, the most frequent masses were originated from submandibular gland and the most common benign tumor was pleomorphic adenoma. Conclusion: Ultrasound has high clinical value in the diagnosis of submandibular triangle masses.
