An Empirical Study on the Relationship between Book Knowledge and Classroom Teaching in Colleges

Abstract:

The degree of students' welcome and approval toward the book knowledge and classroom teaching influence their
enthusiasm to learn. Researchers invite freshmen from a teachers' college as subjects to investigate their evaluation of importance and
actual achieved degree toward general psychology and basic writing course through three indicators, the character of interesting, the
character of practicability, the character of understanding. Investigation reveals that the character of practicability of books is more
important than classroom teaching, the character of interesting of classroom teaching is more important than books, the actual achieved
degree of classroom teaching is better than books in the character of practicability, the character of understanding and the character of
interesting. The character of interesting is not as good as the character of practicability or the character of understanding in both books
knowledge and teachers' classroom teaching.
