Abstract:

New media resources offered infinite possibility for the practice, work, and development of university counselor groups.
Facing with the continued fusion and communication of all kinds of media forms, the media literacy of university counselors is
becoming an important part of adapting for the job need and leading university students' media thoughts. University counselors should
have the comprehensive understanding of the media fusion. The nature required by their media literacy is to make use of the internet
development to improve their own quality, to use the emerging media to expand the college students' ideological and political education
both in the real world and the virtual world. The improving path of university counselors' media literacy forms the active consciousness
of media literacy education, sets up a special instructor team of media literacy education, builds the media literacy resource platform,
and integrates the resources to form the long-term training mechanism of the instructors media literacy.
