An Analysis of the Motive Mechanisms of Teacher 's Professional Development in#br# the New Undergraduate Colleges Based on Kurt Lewin's Field Theory

Abstract: Levin's field theory, by analyzing the individual, environment and their relationship in a specific field or psychological
living space, explains the psychological mechanism of the individual's behavioral motivation, which has an important theoretical
significance to the dynamic mechanism of teachers' professional development in the new undergraduate colleges. The dynamic field of
teachers' professional development in the new undergraduate colleges is a complex system structure, which involves three major areas
of teachers, schools and society, including individual field and environment field. The generation of teachers' professional development
motivation is a complex, dynamic and multidimensional system process, which is derived from the cohesion of the three subsystems of
the material power, the spiritual power and the information power in the dynamic field. The motive mechanisms of teacher's
professional development in the new undergraduate depends on the three aspects of teacher, individual, school and society, involving
three aspects of material power, spiritual power and information power, in the process of transition to applied technical teachers.
