A Study on the Feasibility and Model of College English Hierarchical Teaching in Dali University#br#

Abstract: Under the background of College English teaching reform, with questionnaire, interview and classroom observation, this
essay investigates the current situation of college English teaching in Dali university, teachers and students' understanding, demand
and expectation of hierarchical teaching, and then analyzes the feasibility of college English hierarchical teaching, and constructs the
model of hierarchical teaching. The research shows that college English teachers have a better understanding of the importance and
necessity of hierarchical teaching than that of students. However, in the face of the difficulties brought by hierarchical teaching,
teachers are lack of confidence and it's considered that the feasibility of hierarchical teaching is not high.
