Abstract:
Power electronics technology is a modern technology to transform and control power, which is an important foundation and approach for smart grid building. It is an urgent problem to solve how to cultivate talents suitable for electrical engineering, especially for the current grid building within limited course time. By using the method of engineering design in the teaching of power electronics technology, the scores of the students were obviously improved. Simultaneously, by applying Bloom education target classification on the effect evaluation of both theoretical and experimental teaching reforms, the results were satisfactory. Through the application of engineering design, good teaching effects have been achieved both in cultivating students' interest and practical ability and in cultivating students' innovative thinking and broadening the horizons of their knowledge and so on.
